I may have gone over the top with the French...
Considering none of your Frenchmen have yet stepped onto a battlefield you could be right !!
But very impressive though.

Yes please up for this.
Sounds good.
Oh yes I'd be up for this campaign Pete. Also available for the Pulp game Sunday.
Another thrilling game, and great write up Pete. Once again down to the last turn.
Great game as usual Bryan cheers.
Not for me to blow my own trumpet but I do seem to recall Andy at the time I opened fire saying "is this a wise move?" to which I replied "yeah I'll just cause one casualty and then roll double 1 to kill Bryan's General."
And low and behold it came to pass !!
That's what I call tactics. Someone else may well call it miraculous luck !!
Great game thanks guys.
We live in hope that Craig may one day brake his losing streak but today was not that day !!
An enjoyable quick skirmish game to get back into the groove. Cheers Bryan.
Oh and a victory as well
I found the Gulliman flesh is fine over white primer, but seems a bit washed out over grey. Could just be me though. Never tried any other flesh contrasts.
Ian, the contrast paint works brilliantly on 15mm figures.
Thanks guys, about 90% was contrast paint. Gotta love the stuff for quick results.
Pictures of my Black Brunswicker army for Patriots and Rebels.
The idea was to have an all cavalry army of German troops.
Firstly the army commander, Leutnant Konrad Maurice, Count Von Wolfenbuttal.
A unit of Black Brunswicker Hussars
Finally a BB Horse artillery gun with an artillery officer.
Hopefully more to follow. Still a W.I.P two units of BB Uhlans (Lancers) a unit of Kings German Legion dragoons and a gun limber.
Cheers Will and Happy Christmas.
Hopefully this year we'll all get to meet up again.
Never heard of Wargames Atlantic before. I do like the look of their Centaurs, perfect for Dragon Rampant cavalry. Nice
Cool.
Are you sure you got the scale right on that cavalry horse ??
....please not those are conscripted Germans in French uniform.
Glad you cleared that up Bryan. I mistook them for Frenchmen who had collasped when told they were being posted to the front !!
24 British cavalry captured without a shot bring fired!
No shots fired but a few decapitations I see !!
They run the risk of being as effective in battle as Dave's Germans......they obviously need cavalry support.. ...
I believe my Germans are currently undefeated. Of course it helps that they haven't yet taken to the field of battle !!
Oh dear. Was looking forward to Vapnatak and getting back to some kind of normality. I guess the madness continues for the foreseeable future.
