Another great game.
Finally the Brunswick Cavalry lived up to their motto " Sieg oder Tod" ( "Victory or Death"), rather than the usual aimless milling around, or simply just going back to the local tavern.

Sounds good to me.

Is that a Halfling skull he's stood on?
-
Maybe there's a van load of them !!
-
Glad to be of assistance.
-
How dare you Sir !!
I'll have you know that Schnitzel- Grubel is a "Peacock" not a "Cad".
As any of the ladies will tell you.
Great report Pete, another fun game.

Zatu games www.board-game.co.uk have an easter sale at the moment.
Mostly board games, but they do sell Miniatures and have some offers on Warlord box sets. Inc Pike & Shotte starter set £51

Those pesky Barbary skirmishers again. Why can't they just stand still and fight like proper soldiers !!
Another great game.

Darn tricky things these night maneuvers. The German confederation have enough trouble issuing orders in the daylight !!
-
Note the eccentric though regularly seen tactic of von Wulfenbuttal deploying his cavalry in gun emplacements.
Obviously a great tactic, the French took one look at all the entrenched troops and left without firing a shot!!

The other game was Inis by Matagot games.

It is beginning to dawn on the Brunswick high command that maybe the Count has been promoted beyond his capacity.
Having had a glorious career as an Hussar officer he now finds himself attached to the artillery as an engineer. Just because he made a passing comment to the Duke about "Big bores" !!
-
Andy,
Lt Maurice also has the "Army Engineer" trait.

Two good games cheers Bryan
I see you neglected to point out that the Devastator got his revenge in game two by teleporting into Le Tommy's flank and giving him the full effect of his assault cannon .
-
Good game again, cheers.
The Count of Wolfenbuttal was latter heard to be complaining about some nervy/flighty horse he'd been mounted on. Apparently it had been captured with some Frenchie called Del'monte and at the first gun shot it had fled the field with the Count hanging on for dear life and the Hussars following, presumably thinking this was some great tactical flanking move by the Count. Obviously the horse had never seen a battle before.

Hi Rick,
Welcome, hope to see you tonight then.

Great game to kick off the campaign. Cheers Bryan

I may have gone over the top with the French...
Considering none of your Frenchmen have yet stepped onto a battlefield you could be right !!
But very impressive though.

Yes please up for this.
