Prussian Silver Bayonet Unit WIP

  • After my monster-a-thon I have now moved on to my own Silver Bayonet unit starting this morning with the Swordsman “Willus Von Blade”

A disgraced noble whose womanising led to an unexpected encounter with a Vampire nest, from which he emerged “triumphant” having had “sich amusieren”.

Sadly the locals interpreted this encounter as a bloody murder and the authorities (knowing better) mysteriously whipped Wilus away to serve his time in the Kings “unaturlich untersuchung truppe”, a role In which he has flourished.

  • A former Woodsman from the Brandenburg Region of Prussia Rifleman Harman Becker reportedly shot dead a band of Hobgoblins whilst on surveillance mission.

Unbeknownst to his unit they had been equipped with “new” Iron Shot ammunition.

Upon being engaged Becker alone held his nerve against these savage humanoids as they set upon his comrades.

Beckers skill with the rifle enabled him to pick the attackers off one by one whilst his unit retreated.

Becker saved many that day and his actions saw his swift transfer to the Kings “unaturlich untersuchung truppe”.

  • Max De Sta’lion was a famed circus trick rider before the war. His skills made him an ideal candidate in the Kings Light Horse, with the added bonus of him owning his own stable of Horses which helped equip most of his unit.

Sadly his horses faired less well than him in engagement with French skirmishers in a field of crops.

Whilst the rides fell those who survived rallied on foot and made a valiant effort to assault the French. This skirmish however was cut short for both sides. A hooded figure wielding a huge sickle moved silently amongst all men from felling all in its path. This was Max’s first encounter with the Harvest mens machinations, and upon recanting the tale to his commander Max along with his three remaining comrades where promoted to the Kings “unaturlich untersuchung truppe”.

  • Friedrich had served many years before being furloughed as a reservist and returning home to his village, wife and two children, yet Napoleons war was never far from his home to the East of Prussian and the harvest mens evils soon fell upon his family.

At the new moon chaos befell the village of Zanderberg with a howls and savage intent from dark creatures taller than man with features of beasts. This horde tore into the hapless residents causing abundant slaughter.

Friedrich luckily survived, but, blooded and broken, his family gone made his way to the nearest town reporting the carnage to the Milita Commander.

It took Friedrich many months to recover from his injuries and in this time many visitors came to hear his tale, including the Regional Commander of the “unaturlich untersuchung truppe”.

The Commanders insight gave Friedrich a view or the world with things only his nightmares would normally deliver, yet it also provided an opportunity for the one thing he now wanted, revenge!

With his wounds healed and a newly found zeal Friedrich has one again taken up his musket to bring justice to the Harvest men, in any form, for the death of his family.
