With Wigan Bowl IV entering its last round of matches, the Lancashire Street Bowl has ended and its stars are available for draft.
The first to be revealed is Spiritmask of the Darkheart Dragons:
Just one of the herd, warming the subs bench and waiting his turn, Spiritmask would arguably have faded into obscurity had he not, one fateful game, with the Darkheart Dragons losing and their thrower removed with a broken neck, found one of those weird things that people use to throw balls long distances for their dogs to fetch.
Awkwardly scooping up the ball with his newfound gizmo, he launched it downfield for a dramatic last-turn equaliser and a Street Bowl legend was born. Guiding the Dragons to the SB playoffs, he’s now looking to cut his teeth (beak?) in the big league.
