do not underestimate the attack chickens.......
Nice to meet you Kris, enjoyed the game of Dragon Rampant. loved the Nurgle army.
Now if only Bryan had told me there was another unit of Chickens in the box.

Sounds like a plan.

Not seen the OPR fantasy rules myself.
Think at the club it's probably a case of Dragon Rampant fills the quick skirmish fantasy rules itch.
(Edit) I think a number of people at the club tried/looked at Xenos Rampant and didn't like it so reverted back to OPR Firefight for Sci - Fi, but stuck to Dragon Rampant for Fantasy.

Sorry Shaun not criticizing your mini.
Bryan's having a dig at the fact my mini after over 40 years prob' still isn't finished. But it is, just very badly. Was 40+ years ago.

The Saxons will take option 3
Unlike the devious ambushing Romans. if the Saxons have an issue they fight it out man to man.

Nothing planned as such. Just continuing the AoA WAB campaign I think.
Bring your Picts Mitch for the second round games.

Just because my best victories were in missions where the objective was to runaway!! (okay my only victories).
Anyway no more of this running away malarkey, now I've got Saxons. Just some sailing off into the distance, which is not the same thing.

It came to pass that Horstwulf an Atheling of the Saxons had spoken some unwise words to his father after their latest failed raid on the neighbouring kingdom.
Such were his words, that it was deemed best that Horstwulf should take a long sea voyage and only return when and if he had enough wergild to lay before his father's hall table in tribute.
Taking his son Utter and his personal Gedriht, and any of the many youths of the kingdom who were eager to test themselves in his service, Prince Horstwulf commandeered one of his fathers boats and set sail for the land of the Britains, having heard that there were rich pickings to be had since the Romans had abandoned the Isle.
He landed on the shores and set off for the nearest village, only to find it was already being plundered by a group of Picts under the leadership of a fiery headed maiden (sic), Fritta. Impressed by his large hoard Fritta agreed to join his raiding party, and thus began the Saga of Horstwulf's Sea-raiding.

I think Mitch put it on that little table next to the wall when he moved your chair. But don't know if it was still there when we left.
Best asking Bryan or Craig. they only live round the corner.

Yep, looks good

if Dave had fielded phalanxes instead of naked fanatics we'd have all been doomed......
I'm sure there's a joke in there somewhere.
But I'd better not !
