    Transfers and Loans

MVPs will NOT be available for transfer (permanent purchase) during this season. All other players, including those of a different race, are available for transfer (subject to transfer premium).

MVPs are available for loan only this season, on a match by match basis.

There has been new, official errata, please see the files section.

    Team Construction

Teams are to be built from a starting kitty of 1000mc. It is advised you use the recommended teams from the rulebook. N.B. these recommended teams do not always total 1000mc, so you may start with a small amount of money in the bank.

    Matchdays

Please be at the club by 19:45 for a kick off of 20:00

Fixtures will be determined semi-randomly on the night.

Should we have an odd number of teams, three of the teams will be involved in a game of Ultimate Dreadball (it will be attempted to ensure each team plays roughly the same number of ultimate games in a season).

    Televised Games

One game per Matchday will be ‘televised’ and use the Event Deck. This will be the match between the teams with the most combined number of Cheers (determined randomly in the case of a tie). Teams involved in televised games gain an additional die for revenue.

The latest Sol System Major League is now open to sign-ups. Kick off will be Friday 7th February.

We have a number of teams people can borrow.

Please post here if you are in.

    Details

There are three ways to qualify for the Championship game (a 3-way game of Ultimate at the beginning of May)

    1. Team with the most points after 7 rounds

    2. Team with the highest average points after 7 rounds (minimum of 3 games played to qualify)

    3. Team with the most Cheers

Games will be played on pre-determined 'Dreadball evenings' at the club, scheduled every fortnight/three weeks (dates to follow).

Just turn-up and play - opponents will be drawn randomly on the night.

Should we have an odd number of teams, there will be a game of Ultimate involving three of the teams present.

The evening's fixture with the current highest number of Cheers will be 'televised' (involving extra revenue and event cards).

I’ve always been slow at painting, but contrasts have definitely speeded things up and I reckon if I paint on average 5 minis per week I’ll have done 260 by the end of the year.

So, I’m going to vainly post them here and hope it keeps me motivated throughout the year.

Total painted minis after 2 weeks: 8 (the above Dreadball team; Fruit Salad Orbitals)

Deadline for playoff games is Friday 17th January 2020.

After this it’s the roll of the magical die of DOOM.

Welcome Rob, there is plenty to do at the club (can’t find the directions as I’m on my phone at the moment, remind me when I get home).

Lots of 40k, Mutants and Death Ray Guns, Dragon Rampant, the one where Pete and Bryan eternally struggle over medieval pigs, and some other stuff in the pipeline.

RPG wise there is lots of talk about D&D (with little movement) and I keep going on about getting Red Patrol back together in Mouse Guard.

Board game wise there are lots of fun Ameritrash games played and lots of really boring euros. Zzzzzz.

Also the Blood Bowl league is winding down and the Dreadball league is about to spark into life, like a reanimated corpse of monkey spazzle.

I’ll post more when I’m actually at a computron.
