Hello! I recall someone else asking about this... but the name eludes me. I don't think it's common - we've got table top and board games mostly - afaik

Ey-up Folks,
Fridays have been pretty much knocked out recently due to workload - anyone got any plans to be down Sunday? I could do with chucking some dice and losing some games again.
Is that time correct from 2pm?
-
And then, it all went a LOT to dark after a A"Cameo Green Wash" - I 'hoped' it would dry lighter - it came out black!?!?
But still achieved details and kept my paints thin... I think these deserve a 00 or 000 and try some kind of slight highlights. These Raging Heroes @Kurganovas@ are VERY detailed, so I opted for less is more. It's kind of worked.
...third round of colour choices.. should have stuck with the first one!
EDIT: Why are all my pics uploading as BLACK>>>??

Santa & Rudolph - Evil Universe Version?
-
..I'm still just a rat in a cage.
Penrith last week, Newcastle this week - actual Holiday in Scotland next week.
So I'll be down 30th Next..
..unless there's another 'emergency diary change'
Next Sunday extended looks like the 8th? I'll pencil that in to!
-
..and glaze .. and zenithal
The "Brutal Deluxe" metallic Blood Bowl humes came out real nice - when someone else takes pics.
Minimal effort FTW!
Now very slowly adding very thin layers to these slightly intimidatingly detailed Raging Heroes "Kurganovas"..
I also seem to be developing the 'fix it later' attitude to mistakes.
Had to pack them up before inquisitive grandson breaks "The Rules"
-
I've got some capes/robes in the pipeline... nice to see a good example! tyvm
-
Your were still setting up when I popped in for a look see - a draw is definitely not a loss
-
Lets be optimistic - I'm driving back from Wrexham late tomorrow.
Anyone up for a toy soldier shuffle from 8ish?
If not back to painting
Ta muchly
-
Been too knackered to pop down,
But..
With some messing around with a silver drybrush, some pearlescent paint, and some thin washes - 27(?) minis made a lot shinier. then decided to squeeze a stash of Blood Bowl Orks for practise.
Actual painting fun. And thin paints cause me a lot less stress
Left is the older paint job - stupid amounts of stress with tiny brushes. very flat. Right is the new paint job (it's redder in photo than IRL?) which was minutes per colour.
Orcs kind of flew out. Next the humes.. I don't even know the team names.
-
I'll certainly be watching - and thanks again for the novel game the other week!
-
I'll stick to my chibi neon monsters for Dragon Rampant - I've got some tweaked Orcs for OPR.
One of these days I should bring Carcassone down....
-
I can usually get down after 2ish - nothing planned for me.
-
Sure - might bring something different model wise
-
Week looks good for popping down Friday after 8ish.
Anyone want to chuck some dices?
Club calendar doesn't show the all day Sunday at end of Month - but that will be next.
-
Yup - more space needs more light - my daylight bulb lamp isn't enough. Can decide on a bar or a ring version.
Need a break before I do floor to ceiling racking along the wall.
-
Only 4 coats and a lot of TLC to remove the purple.. I'm about 3 times increase in workspace (even my old space rarely had a foot suare clutter free) - but a decent chair and a raising table - and I have steel racking to design and shape up the wall. The black rack in temporary.
Need some under bed storage tubs for scenery - something under desk - and something on the wooden drawers that have all glues/knives/solvents/sprays.
All other tubs need an inventory.... anyone need any Ork or 40k chaos parts???
So Wednesday - will be the first time since August I've had all this unpacked, and I'll paint.
Been way way too long...
1) Cannons x3 (OPR)
2) Scenery x OMGWTFDIDIBUYSOMUCH?
3) Jet Pack Orcs (OPR)
4) Slaanesh Bright Paint
5) Blood bowl zenithal expirments...
Possibilities
Deep joy.

"For our main battle games, we are changing the Shaken rule to be more forgiving, and give players some extra choice. In this new version, Shaken units are still able to act normally, but they get -1 to Quality and Defense rolls, halve their movement, and can't seize objective markers. Units may choose to spend their activation idle in order to stop being Shaken, but don't have to."
"For our skirmish games, we are changing Wound Checks and Rout Tests, again to make the game more forgiving, but also slightly less deadly. In this new version, units are not Stunned anymore, but are Shaken instead, with Shaken working as described above. This also means that when units fail a Rout test, they are Shaken instead of Stunned, and are only Routed if they were already Shaken.
This change has a bigger impact on the skirmish games, as it means multiple things. Since units are now Shaken instead of Stunned, you can't auto-kill them by charging them or hitting them with a shooting attack, so the game is a little less deadly. It also means that units that are charged in melee and take wounds will actually get to strike back (if they are not Knocked Out), which makes the game more balanced.
Note that since Shaken is now less painful than before, the cost of morale and morale-related rules has been changed, so many units across the board are now slightly cheaper."
There's some small language changes to make other things clearer too..
I do like the fact they've taken years to do such small updates. Rather than outright change.
or ?
