Some would say a long overdue promotion of a career soldier spanning numerous theatres 😀 and the ability to extract himself from the toughest situations without a mere scratch...at the expense of his troops of course! Cant make an omelette without cracking some eggs! 🤣

Cheers guys. Just a little project on the side with all this weekend free time now. The crow scout scalping and the lakota Indians are actually warlord woodland Indians with a bit of greenstuff. advantage of using plastic figs. Not decided yet whether to rebs and Patriots or MWBK....period is 1840-1880ish.

I have 4 samsung galaxy tab 3 tablets my company no longer has use for. Was wondering if the club could use them for pdf rules/pictures/battle reports etc

that's not true I can roll plenty of 1's 😀

thanks for showing me the rules Bryan. Definitely seem to suit napoleonic tactics. Now to change my current army list!
-
thanks will. I suppose I could paint it up as any type of dragoon

might work Dave if he is lied on his front. I can stick a French backpack on him to hide the valise. According to Sharpe they preferred the French packs and boots! 😀

Dont suppose anyone has a spare dead allied infantry man like you get in the Perry French dragoons box. Just to add to my commander base. Cheers

really nice painting Will look good smashing those allied lines.

its only an 18 man unit Bryan. Pete would have done a 48 man unit in the same time..and some scenery to go along. 😀

Ok....so I caved in, thanks to Bryan, Pete, Dave, Will and Andy..peer pressure does work!
I introduce my first delve into Napoleonics for many a year. An 18 man large unit of cannon fodder, I mean Irish Legion. The only true infantry unit that should be wearing green in the peninsular, bloody British rifles!.
Suitable flag to follow...and I do believe the only foreign unit to be given an eagle by Napoleon! (I may be wrong on that)

I would be up for a game. Let me know if you need me to bring any figures
