A few shots from last nights games.
Myself, Dave, Rick, Andy and Mike started with Bites, then successfully assassinated Hitler in Black Orchestra and finished with QE.
Bryan and Ian had a game of Dragon Rampant, Empire vs Elves.

victory for the Comte D'El Monte....mainly due to a good character trait and Ian rolling badly for his activations.....
Ugh, that's the one rule that gets my goat about Dragon Rampant. I was rolling a fairly balanced set of dice across the game, as many multi-sixes as 1s and 2s, but I failed my first activation (nothing that risky even, I think it was 5+s) must've been four or five times in a row. With Bryan's nice re-roll Leadership trait, that meant he had all those turns to neuter my units before they'd even took their thumbs out.
I sorta get the rationale, fog of war and all that, but I think it'd be more fun if failed activations just applied to the unit and didn't end the turn.
Yep been there a few times, and its anoying as hell, but quite thematic for my gobos standing around squabling amongst themselves.
Absolutely, and my spies tell me you like to take Fearful to get a points discount and that fits thematically too. But there's no equivalent 'Disciplined' to let you spend points to improve courage or activation etc, so the options for getting thematic is those directions seem a bit limited, for a fantasy game, at least.
