What sports league should we play next?

  • What miniatures sports league should we play next? 6

    1. Battleball (1) 17%
    2. Blood Bowl (4) 67%
    3. Dreadball (2) 33%
    4. Guild Ball (5) 83%
    5. Something different (please comment) (1) 17%
    6. Street Bowl (4) 67%

Notes: The plan was to play Dreadball 2.0, but the rules aren't on general sale yet, so we have a poll. Democracy is a wonderful thing. You can vote for all the sports you are interested in.

    Supplementary notes:

Blood Bowl: Any existing Wigan Wargames teams are eligible (as well as newly generated teams). I have the existing teamsheets so people can re-visit their old teams if Blood Bowl is selected.

Dreadball: We will use the original Season 1-3 rules, NOT the playtest rules we used last season. New teams will have to be generated.

We plan to kick off the season in February.

We may have a mid-season break in April as Darren is unavailable (or Darren's opponents will have a game in hand).

One game to be played per 3 or 4 weeks.

PLEASE ONLY VOTE IF YOU ARE WILLING AND ABLE TO COMPLETE A 4-GAME SEASON (FEB-MAY INCLUSIVE)

  • Good thinking Darren, Street Bowl is fun and has been added, you can all vote for this if you like.

  • Voting is over and Guild Ball has pulled clear by a couple of votes.

Please post here (at least the 6 of you that voted for GB) which Guild you are likely to play and if you have any spare teams that people might be able to borrow.

Also let us know if you have no team and you’d like to borrow one. Practise games shall be organised for those who want one.

I’ll start up a proper thread when you’ve all confirmed your participation.
